Accessibility at Graves Park Food and Drink Festival
The Graves Park Food and Drink Festival team are committed to making the festivals accessible to all
Frequently Asked Questions:
Is the site accessible to wheelchairs and Mobility Assistance Vehicles?
The festival is on close-cut grassland, however there is a slope that runs from the top of the event to the bottom of the event which may be difficult for non-assisted wheelchair users. The event is taking place on the field directly next to Graves Park Animal Farm and we recommend looking at the site on Google Maps/Google Earth in advance if this is a concern for you.
Are Assistance Dogs allowed on site?
All of our events are Dog Friendly; we just ask that dogs are kept on leads at all times and consideration is given to their welfare if the day is a particularly hot day.
Do carers get a free ticket to attend the festival?
Carers get free access to the festival whilst accompanying the person/people they provide care for. Make the staff at the main entrance aware that you require a carers ticket. Please bring some form of ID as you may be asked for this.
Is there Accessible Parking?
A limited amount of Blue Badge Parking is available in the Graves Park animal farm car park. While we are designating this car park as Blue Badge parking only in its entirety, we cannot guarantee it won’t fill up. For Blue Badge Parking, use ‘Graves Park Animal Farm’ in your sat nav.
Are there Accessible Toilets on site?
Yes. These are situated at the main toilet block.
Do you have Sensory Calm Spaces?
We aim for the site to be a safe, happy and enjoyable space for all. However, the different smells, sounds, tastes and experiences can be overwhelming and over stimulating for some. The site has plenty of calmer/quieter spaces for people to take time out and relax.
