GETTING HERE

Getting Here By Car

We recommend public transport whereever possible.

Free Parking: We have free on site parking available on the field next to site. Please read the following instructions carefully based on which direction you’re approaching the park from.

Important Notes if Driving Here

If you are approaching the car park along Hemsworth Road, with the park on your left, please be aware there is a very tight left turn into the free event parking. Please approach wide and slowly.

We strongly recommend approaching the car park from Derbyshire Lane with the park directly infront of you. The gate turning and access is safer and more visible from this approach.

Please follow yellow directional signage through the two stone pillars on the day of the event, and follow instructions from our car parking team.

Please note: The ‘Graves Park Animal Farm’ Public Car Park is reserved for Blue Badge Holders Only. Instead, please head to the free parking at Graves Park Pavilion.

Getting Here on Foot

We encourage using public transport wherever possible.

Address for Walking: Graves Park Animal Farm, Hemsworth Rd, Sheffield S8 8LJ

Bus: On Saturdays, buses number 44 & 20 service Graves Park. For the 44, exit at the Meadowhead/Roxton Avenue stop , approximately a 10 minute walk from site. For the 20, exit at the Warminster Road/Hemsworth Road stops, which are under a 5 minute walk from the festival. On Sundays, the number 20 bus continues to run, however there are alternative options with buses number 25A & 43 which drop you approximately 10 minutes from the festival.

Train: From Sheffield train station, buses number 43, 44, 25A & 24 service Graves Park.

Taxi: Taxi drop off is permitted at the Graves Park Animal Farm car park. However, please note that parking here is reserved for Blue Badge Holders Only.

Disabled Access

There are disabled access toilets on site and Blue Badge parking is available. The festival is on close-cut grassland, however there is a slope that runs from the top of the event to the bottom of the event which may be difficult for non-assisted wheelchair users. The event is taking place on the field directly next to Graves Park Animal Farm and we recommend looking at the site on Google Maps/Google Earth in advance if this is a concern for you.

Blue Badge Parking: A limited amount of Blue Badge Parking is available in the Graves Park animal farm car park. While we are designating this car park as Blue Badge parking only in its entirety, we cannot guarantee it won’t fill up. For Blue Badge Parking, use ‘Graves Park Animal Farm’ in your sat nav.

We aim to provide a festival environment that is welcoming and inclusive of all abilities, including hidden disabilities. If you have any questions or suggestions for the festival team, please contact us at info@gravesparkfoodfestival.com

Dogs

Dogs are very welcome! We just ask for them to be kept on a lead and any mess to be cleaned up, as well as being mindful of other attendees and their pets.
